Blomsma partner for wayfinding for new OPCW Nootdorp building

Geplaatst op 24 November 2022

Blomsma has been chosen as a partner to provide the internal wayfinding for the OPCW’s newly built Chemtech Centre. This new laboratory and study and conference centre being built in Pijnacker-Nootdorp was designed by Ector Hoogstad Architects and was initiated to meet the OPCW’s developing needs.

Blomsma will provide signage/wayfinding All these functions are organised around the ‘heart’ of the building where staff and visitors congregate. The importance of clear wayfinding is great here; the flow of visitors and staff needs to be guided efficiently from A to B. We will therefore base this new signage system to be created on people’s behaviour. Finding one’s way in this new OPCW building should be an easy process. Pragmatic solutions will be used, a mix of PVC-free signage foils, signage panels and full-colour expressions.
