Blomsma Signs & Safety executed the Safety Signage and Escape Route Signage, Pipe marking, Platform Identification Signs, Anti-Slip step covers and valve tagging on the Petrogas E&P A18 Topside. Prior to the production and installation of the signage, a sign plan was engineered by Blomsma Signs & Safety, which is used as a starting point for the Safety Plans and Escape Route Plans.
All the signs are manufactured in a 3M™ Scotchcall Reflective vinyl applied to various base materials, according to strict 3M™ specifications. The PolyesPro® pipe markings are fitted with GHS hazard symbols.
The safety signage, safety drawings and additional signs are executed according to the Dutch Offshore signage standard, which is co-developed by Blomsma Signs & Safety.
Installation is executed by our Blomsma 3M™ certified mechanics, ensuring all relevant 3M™ product warranties.
A18 is situated in the Northern section of the Dutch continental Shelf, some 300 kilometers North of Den Helder in 44 meters water depth. The gas will be exported via a pipeline connection to the nearby A12 production platform.
