Southwark and Blythe platforms – Safety Signage

Blomsma Signs & Safety has been contracted by HSM Offshore Energy to provide safety signage and pipe marking for the Southwark and Blythe platforms. The platforms operated by IOG will produce gas from the British sector of the North Sea. Safety plays an essential role on (unmanned) offshore platforms which are occasionally visited for maintenance and inspection work. Safety signage is an indispensable part of visual communication and identification, a clear contribution to safety.

Blomsma also realized the assembly of the safety signage, firefighting, and rescue equipment signage. The implementation had to be pragmatic, offshore proof and in accordance with current legislation and regulations.
