Geplaatst op 15 July 2013

Blomsma Signs & Safety realizes the Safety Signage and Architectural Signage for four new construction projects of GDF SUEZ E&P Nederland B.V.

The new projects for different offshore locations on the Dutch continental shelf consist of two gas production platforms (L5a-D, D18a-A), one oil production platform (Q13a-A) and one Hang Off Module for the existing G17d-AP platform.

These four projects were executed at two building sites: the Fabricom yard in Antwerp (Belgium) and the HSM yard in Schiedam (The Netherlands).

The scope for all relevant signage consists of;

    • Detailed signplan drawings and engineering
    • Safety Signage (escape routes, fire fighting and rescue)
    • Marking of tanks and vessels with i.a. GHS hazard symbols
    • Escape Route Guidance system (Low Location Lighting)
    • Pipe identification marking / flowmarking
    • Platform Identification panels
    • Evacuation Plan drawings
    • Safeguard anti-slip ladder rung covers
    • Shadow signs Electrical equipment / tools

Blomsma Signs & Safety executed complete engineering, manufacturing, (safety-related) draftworks and installation from our Zoetermeer location, The Netherlands.

Meanwhile, all platforms are installed at their location in the North Sea. Once the hook-up and heavy construction work is completed, a Blomsma team will review and check the signing offshore and make any additions where necessary.
