Kemira contracted Blomsma Signs & Safety to adjust the Safety Signage according to current laws and regulations on her chemical plant located in Rotterdam-Botlek
The focus of the project lies within markings on tanks and pipes. The storage tanks will be marked with standardized markings which displays the NFPA diamond, Gevi / UN numbering, GHS symbols (according to CLP), medium name, tank number and capacity.
The pipes are fitted with a marking in a medium color in accordance with NEN3050, GHS hazard symbols, a flow direction arrow and medium name.
Also, the loading bays will be fitted with the necessary health and safety signage in accordance to the Dutch Working Decision (Arbeidsomstandigheden regeling hoofdstuk 8), developed with the graphical symbols from ISO7010.
All markings and signage will be executed in high quality 3M® Scotchcall® materials produced according to 3M® specifications.
