Odfjell Terminals Rotterdam (OTR) selects Blomsma Signs & Safety

Odfjell Terminals Rotterdam (OTR) has selected Blomsma Signs & Safety as partner for the implementation of a comprehensive safety signage system. OTR has the ambition to become a leader in its industry.

The objective is to implement understandable safety signage in a uniform and practical manner, with legal frameworks and (inter)national standards as starting points. The deepening of the rules and the link to operate safely is central to the implementation. Safety signs should be functional and add value to the overall safety of OTR and serve as an example in the industry.

Blomsma Signs & Safety will act as a knowledge partner and provides engineering in close cooperation with OTR. The production and implementation of the safety signage will be according to the highest quality standards that we as 3M™ Platinum Graphics Provider and our 3M™ certified installation teams can offer.

The scope includes the implementation of safety signs in accordance with ARBO Decree Chapter 8, using the latest standards for the graphic symbols according to ISO-7010. The hazard symbols that are used on tanks and pipes are according to GHS (Globally Harmonized System).

Blomsma Signs & Safety is proud to contribute with this multiyear contract of OTR to further enhance the safety standards at the Rotterdam terminal.
