Blomsma Signs & Safety gets project awarded by Glencore Nordenham for renewal of their sign system

Blomsma Signs & Safety B.V. announced today that they will realise the project for Glencore Nordenham; consisting of Nordenhamer Zinkhütte and Nordenham Metall in Germany. The site’s complete sign system will be renewed and upgraded to the latest and most recent laws and regulations. Last year, a complete sign plan was produced for Nordenhamer Zinkhütte. The Sign plan included a complete revision of the safety sign system.

What we have done so far:

  • Safety identification – Escape and evacuation plan to ISO 23601
  • Fire Fighting & rescue equipment signage to DIN 14675

The future scope of the project for the site will include the following:

  • Pipe marking according to ISO 20560-1
  • Fire prevention and rescue equipment signage according to ISO 3864-1:2011
  • Safety and health signage to ASR A1.3
  • Building coding for quick identification
